Andrews Trucks

These Andrews trucks are made by Wayne Godshall in Pennsylvania. They are well designed and have steel ball bearings. They were shown for the first time at the Train Mountain Triennial meet in June 2009 and were very well received. I got a lot of great comments on the trucks. I sold all that I had with me at the meet and got orders for several more. Current price is $350 per set. A shipping charge of $50 applies to this item.

Wheel Chocks

Wheel chocks are used to safely hold your train in place when it is parked. They come in four colors (red, blue, yellow, and orange).

These rerailers are very nice and will rerail a car. They are made of steel. They are made by John Norcross.

Ditch Light Housings

These housings are CNC cut from solid aluminum billet. They have a hole already drilled and tapped on one side for mounting. Both are the same shape and size. The one that uses the LED is a little wide for the lens but it does work. Light units are not included. Multiple unit discounts apply to purchase.

Model Fire Extinguisher

These model fire extinguishers are made of metal and stand about 2" high with a diameter of 1/2". This is a very nice little detail. They can be drilled and tapped on the bottom for mounting to your engine if desired.

Flashing Blinkie

These little flashing lights has a clip for mounting. The unit can be swiveled on the mount to point in any direction. It is powered by 3 small replaceable watch batteries that last a long time. Can be used as a F.R.E.D. or as a warning light.

Switch Throw - Manual

This is a low profile manual switch throw that is very well made by Duncan parker. It is very durable and made of ABS plastic with a stainless steel throw rod in a brass bearing to reduce maintenance. Can be mounted on either side of the track. Call for discounts available on orders of four or more units. A shipping fee of $20 applies for each unit.

Switch Throw - Electric

The Parker electric switch throw is simple to install and be used to operate left or right hand switches. Can be mounted on either side of the track. It has a stainless steel throw rod mounted in a brass bearing to connect to the switch points. Wiring is very simple requiring only 2 wires and a DPDT reversing switch. It is powered by a 12V DC source. The current drain from each unit is less than 100mA. The switch control can be mounted any distance from the switch. Call for discounts on 4 or more units. Shipping is $20 per unit.

F.R.E.D.

This is a Flashing Rear-End Device that looks very much like the prototype. It is also very close to scale for 7-1/2 inch modelers. We will have one in 2-1/2 inch scale soon. The F.R.E.D. will fit any coupler and is designed to stay put when attached. It is spring-loaded to keep it in place and is locked on. It is adjustable to meet the needs of your couplers as necessary. It is made from aluminum and can be painted if desired. It runs on a 12-volt battery that will last about 5 days of non-stop use. It has an on/off switch as well. The antenna can be mounted on the top or the side of the unit to match your road's prototype. These are priced at $30 each.

Stake Pockets

These are all aluminum stake pockets that are slightly tapered from top to bottom. No holes are pre-drilled so you can drill the four holes to meet your needs. These are priced at $2.00 each.

These are cast aluminum journal box covers. They are sold in sets of 8 for $20.00 per set.

Chain Binders

These chain binders will add a nice touch to your loads. They are non-functional but look like the real ones. The hooks on each end can hook into the chains holding your loads. Precision Steel Care makes three (3) different size scale chains. Hooks are moveable. The three colors to choose from are red, orange, and blue. Mix your order for any colors you want. Pricing is $8 each.
